In this last photo, that looks to be a guild D40 or D45 guitar with a sunburst top. I wonder how old it is.

thx for all your comments and to Rudy for posting pics of the truck :) I was inspired by Damiens fire truck seeing Mr Sharkeys site a few years ago....and finally the thought turned into reality!

I would like to finish the detailing with some gold NYPD stickers for example :) on the cab....

Have found some great pics on the web of the same truck still in service over there, stateside, fast becoming replaced i would imagine.

It has a ton of grunt as its weight is way down on what it was designed to pull and is becoming a comfortable dwelling :)

Up for sale, more so because i'm curious, i will be overseas (away from NZ) and dont really want to leave it sitting for a winter (they like to be used!) so thought i would put it out there.

keep on truckin :)

That is interesting, I was designing a housetruck based on a fire truck. While doing online research for the project, that is how I found this site.
Aside from talking to my brother Ted, this is about the only place I can discuss some of my ideas without some narrow minded pawn saying "You are crazy, why would anyone want to do that?"

I put that project on the back burner for now. I still have the fire truck, and I still plan on building it someday.

Thanks again for the cool site Sharkey.

Heck, I was just in Hollyweird last night. Wish I'd thought ahead and made arrangements to swing by and check out your crown! Maybe take a gander at that Paramount. Dang.
