Re: Tiny house on a trailer
We're in the mid 60's day and night this time of the year so pretty nice. We hire our gardner to jerk out all the summer plants and follow up by setting out "winter" potted plants dug into the cleared area to keep it looking chearful. That's as close to winter as I want to get. I'm startin...

Re: Tiny house on a trailer
Hi Dennis and stealthy! Glad to see a couple of new postings and that you both are still keeping on keeping on. We still get out about once a month for a couple of days at a favorite local campground but now being entrenched in our 80's I'm not sure if we'll have any long distance trips. Take care, ...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Here's to many happy campouts in 2024! Our last campout was Christmas '23 at Camp Comfort. No rain but pretty chilly. Night time temps in the low 30's outside and 44 inside as wifey refuses to use the heater at night--burr. Not much in the way of pics but I rather like this one of all our "anim...

Hello All! Happy new year. We are still out and about in Honeysuckle Rose. We spent Christmas in a small campground called Camp Comfort --which it was. Jack
Here is a picture of all our "animal" friends and our Christmas tree.

Re: Hay, and the unroller.
Same back at ya! Like you we are hoping for a better year in 2024. March of 23 found me back under the care of old sawbones when my left wrist decided to pay dividends on a "healed" break from a work related bicycle accident almost 10 years ago. Three of the 7-8?- carpel bones in my left h...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
oltruntoltrunt July 12 Hello all! A lot of water under the bridge. An old work injury as promised began to pay dividends. one of the carpel bones in my left wrist gave up the ghost leaving me with a painful and useless left hand, The old saw bones said he'd have to remove two adjacent bones and that...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
We were lucky enough to go camping for Christmas. Weather was perfect and the campground was nearly empty so about as good as it gets.

Hello All and Happy New Year! We were able to spend Christmas at a local camp ground and had a fine time.. We hope not to be quite so cabin bound this year and are looking forward to a few longer and more distant campouts. Jack

Hello All. I'm happy to have anyone who wants to to use my--whatever this thing is called. Almost a year now after the quad and 2 months after a little finish up work removing scar tissue from the cancer surgery. I'm pleased to report that I can now pee like cow on a flat rock once again and no more...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Photo fu--er--I mean bucket suddenly wanted a huge amount of money to post my up until then "free pics". Their way to convince me to pay 'em was to block all my free (as promised) pics. I said no to that and I guess lots of other folks said the same thing. Eventually photo bucket released ...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. A bit of an update. Although this is not really about my bus it is related. You see, the bus has a toad and the toad has a tent trailer with a Powermate 2000 amp genny to run the frig and AC. It's sort of like a step sibling I guess. Anyway, the genny needed service. Since I’m not suppose...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
I can't imagine how hard all that is for you but I expect my wife can. I don't think we old sickies have near as much to worry about other than recovery. My wife looked at me the other day and said "January sure has been a long month" and I saw the worry lines on her face. Take care of eac...
