Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
I have a Zip Dee awning . . . When it is in the travel position there are lock downs on the end rafter arms that screw the rafter arms down tight to the body of the trailer. There is no way in which the awning can deploy or be blown off if the lock downs are screwed down tight. . . . As I understan...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Been following Tango's build, but I decided it's 'bout time I caught up to date with your travels, too. Re: train trestles: We had the State build a two-lane bypass to keep the highway out of the center of the local hamlet, and it went under a freight line less than a mile from my house, so they exc...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
. . . If you apply AC it would be turning off and on 60 times a second. Exactly. But that works OK, even with DC designers often strobe the LEDs off and on really fast to save power and heat dissipation, and the eye does not notice the difference (unless you wave your fingers back and forth to see ...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
. . . Another topic: I made up a "hall way switch " set up for thr recirculating hot water system so that it could be controlled at either the bath or kitchen--that works fine. I incorporated a couple of LED lamps as guide lamps so that one would know either in the kitchen or the bath tha...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Looking good, Jack. I just got to check the recent pages, haven't had time to go from the start yet. This is kind of a test post for just having registered. Your bus brings back memories. The coolest rod when I was in High School IMHO was a '35 Chevy pickup. Much cooler than the '55 '56 '57 Chevys t...
