Re: Fun with the Phantom
Me too. But, even though it's not perfect I'd still rather have it than have to use the campground shower!

Re: Fun with the Phantom
Hmmm, functional, but not ideal. I wished I had made the bottom of the stainless pan with a pitch so water would not pool in the corners if you're not level. Too late for that now. This is the first one I've ever had made. Lesson learned. The drain out the bottom is still above my frame rails. I hav...

Re: Fun with the Phantom
I finally finished the fresh water, shower, and composting toilet installation this winter. Here's a quick pictorial. :) The composting pooper! https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P3580L9QeHc/VuS_suH5xYI/AAAAAAAABrg/Ur6t7y_1hWUmMJ-cz3ncwQFZ50Vbu0TrwCCo/s800-Ic42/P1000986.JPG https://lh3.googleusercon...

Re: Texas tiny house?
That's really well done and beautiful. It probably wasn't a factor there, but the thought occured to me that this would have been a nightmare to build in town with all the building codes we have to observe.

I have to agree with Tango. That's the worst burned relay I've seen in a bus.

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Good job Jack. After using one for a while, you find out what youd did wrong, lol. I use my outside outlet quite a bit. Usually for radio or fan or both.

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Glad all is well Jack, and that no repairs are in order. It's amazing all the things you discover that you want to do differently on the "next bus", LOL!

Re: Fun with the Phantom
For this particular toilet, a large kitchen trash bag fits over the top of it. You turn it upside down to empty. At this point, you can put the emptied product in an outside composting bin, or it can be sealed in the bag and put in a dumpster. If you're putting it in a composting pile, it would be g...

Re: Fun with the Phantom
Well it's been a while since I posted anything. Partly because there wasn't much new to tell, and partly because I took a new position with another employer. Settling in to a new job is always time consuming. It was a very good move for me though and I'm hoping spring time will have lots of fun trip...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Jack, I'm late to the table, but extremely glad to hear the good news. I never stop being surprised at how seemingly insignificant things turn into something so serious. I'm really glad for you. I can only imagine how grateful you are to hear the report. Best of luck to you and hope you get back to ...
