Wa License

Hi There :D , My info on Washington State is that you need no special license if the bus is titled as a motor home. I have a CDL so I don't worry about it. A quick call to the DMV of your friendly WSP will give you the answer for sure. REMEMBER, you are not inquiring about a bus, you are inquiring a...

I for one will be back along with my friend Ron in his Crown named THUNDERCOACH (it has a 855 Cummins big cam in it) as well as our other friend Allen with his ever cool Kenworth bus ( one of 600 ever made). Hope to see you there.

Bus Rally @ Rickreal, Oregom

Hi All :D , Just a note to let you know that my 78 Crown bus 'FARTHER' made it from Fir Island, Washington to The BUSNUSA rally at Rickreal, Oregon. A total of 598 miles round trip with @ 10 miles per gallon. That is no misprint. Yep 10 MPG at 60-62 average speed. I had a ton of fun and most of the ...

Hi Sharkey and the rest of the gang :D . I just wanted to let all of you know how much I appreciate this web site. I do not contribute too much but watch and read almost every day. I live in a somewhat remote area and have only dial up for a server. This site loads fast and responds quickly to my co...

Celebrity

Hi Damien, I have a name for my 78 Crown conversion. "Farther", not Further as in Magic Bus fame but "Farther". My hope is that "Farther will go farther than Further did. Besides if you just called it "the bus" it would seem to not have a soul. With a proper name t...

Do you have a name for your rig :?: I see that you successfully hogged most of the glamor shots and did not share many shots of your sw...

30/50 amp

Hi, I have a boat that has an adapter from 30 amp to 50 amp. I haven't checked out the system on the land side yet . I don't really know the configuration of the plug yet. If I could do it from 30 amp to 50 amp then all I would have to worry about is that the Blue Sea system breakers were the adequa...

30 amp/50amp shore power?

Hi all, I need some free advice. I am thinking of using a 30 amp shore power plug for My Crown "Farther" I don't have all of the power consumption of the New Coaches. My thought process says that I can get an adapter for 50 to 30 if I need too, or get an adapter for 120V shore power to the...

Hi Sharkey :D , I am the newest guy to your forum. I have a 1978 Crown 35'er named "Farther". ( The hope is that "Farther" will go farther than Further did) I am on my way in the conversion mode. "Farther is powered by a 671 Jimmy with an Allison 4 speed automatic and all ne...
