tv truck

Hi Chuck, I can't give any more info. on the Gillig TV truck, other than Wow! what a sweet rig, looks like it has a 10 speed to boot! Your Crown TV truck is sweet too, and has great potential. It must have tons of buildable space in there! Yes, the "squared off" box will make it much easie...

nukes

Hey Stealth Camper, (love that name, as that was my motto when I lived 11yrs. on the road full time!), I worked as a Health Physcist at the Surry Nuclear Plant on the James river, Virginia, back in the mid 1980's. I saw the entire "inner workings" of a nuke plant...they are NOT safe, take ...

1966 Crown

Thank you for the link Headache. I searched the site, but no bus info. yet. I will call HP this week during business hours to see if I can locate an "old timer" who may have a clue on the original purpose of this unique bus, and her sister ship.

unique crown ?

Hi folks, I hope all are doing well in progress on their rigs. I apologize for lack of photos, I am just not set up for that yet. I am curious if anyone out there has seen or heard of the type of Crown that I have in these photos. It has the raised roof that is traditionally called a "high floo...

Yes I will include photos when I get a new camera. The trip down here tapped me out, but I'll be back up and running in a while.

Hi Chuck, I made it to the Grand Canyon...the 66 Crown ran like a champ! I was very sick during my trip, sorry, no photos, but I made it here. The ten speed made ALL the difference in the world, so it eased the pain of letting go of that sweet 58. The high roof is wonderful for interior comfort. I w...

I am unable to upload photos of the bus. It is the tan one with brown stripes that Chuck mentioned he saw on Craig's list. Yes, it is a super clean bus, and was hard to part with. However, I chose to buy the 66 high roof crown for the head space, as I could not bear to think of cutting on the 58 to ...

the bus has gone to a good new home...situation resolved! Moki, I appreciate your enthusiasm for the quality constuction of Crown buses and what part of this country's history that represents. Sadly, today we live in a "disposable" society, where very few people understand the concept of &...

Thank you for the tip Sharkey. My last post was done at the library, so yes, I forgot my password. My home computer is acting up. I would very much like to see this sweet old 58 Crown go to someone who appreciates these buses for the jewels that they are! It's very hard for me to part with this bus,...

1958 crown for sale

Hey TJ, The lady who paid me for my 58 Crown wants to back out of the deal, she bit off more than she could chew, I guess.
So, it's your lucky day if you still want the bus at $5K, it's worth every penny of it with the rebuilt Cummmins 220.
Give me a call at 206-795-0483
