Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Photo fu--er--I mean bucket suddenly wanted a huge amount of money to post my up until then "free pics". Their way to convince me to pay 'em was to block all my free (as promised) pics. I said no to that and I guess lots of other folks said the same thing. Eventually photo bucket released...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Looks like fun! I have a couple of riding mowers that are gonna need that kind of attention soon. Kinda looking forward to warmer days soon! (We got 7" of snow - all of it gone two days later!) Where are you keeping your pictures now? I see some still have the Photobucket logo while recent ones...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

I can't imagine how hard all that is for you but I expect my wife can. I don't think we old sickies have near as much to worry about other than recovery. My wife looked at me the other day and said "January sure has been a long month" and I saw the worry lines on her face. Take care of ea...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Hello All. I'm proving hard to kill as my recovery from quad bipass surgery is coming along well. I've made it through the first thirty days which now "qualifies" me for another ten years @ 97% actuarial. As soon after surgery as possible I set myself up on a recovery schedule as if it we...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Not sure how I missed this when you wrote it. Just not paying attention, I guess!

Hope you are doing well and recover from the surgery quickly!

And well wishes to you and everyone else who happens to come across this place!!

Re: Hay, and the unroller.

Has been a while so just thought I would say something about what has been going on. Last year was amazing for our 5 little cherry tomato plants. We got about 75 lbs out of those little guys and reached the point where we could not give them away or eat them all! This year was a gawd awful mess. Wea...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

. So our entire family has been into camping for at least the last 63 years - I can't remember anything before I was about 5 or so... Sister wanted to go camping this weekend - not sure why since it is 100 degrees and a gazilliabillion percent humidity here right now! She calls the RV park to make r...

Re: Union HS bus conversion

I think it is structured like a vo-tech, vocational technical, curriculum. Half day there, then half day of more conventional classes. The bus is basic, but they did a good job on the build.

Union HS bus conversion

There is a local high school not too far from us that has done something very cool, I think. They did a bus conversion into an RV. Skoolies are going mainstream and going to high school! Better than the shop projects I got to do in school!

Re: Covid-19

Well, our little corner of the world has become more relaxed relative to covid. The vaccination seems to have worked. A dozen or so friends/family who have caught it survived (only one did not and that was early last year), and there have been only relatively mild lingering effects. We have even bee...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus

Geez....fun times at the tire shop! I cringe every time! Can hardly wait to get to work on the front two wheels on my bus. I bought some replacement Dayton wheels so I can use 22.5" tires, but the old ones are split rims and I really don't want that excitement. I think I will just loosen everyt...

Re: Covid-19

Good to hear! We have no lingering side effects from the shots. Various family members, including 1 grandkid and 1 great grandkid caught covid and have been having some "long covid" symptoms...not severe, but irritating. We finally seem to be getting at least some of our act together in th...

Re: Covid-19

Sorry, they are still making it excessively difficult to get in here. On the upside those of us that work at the border should be starting to get our vaccinations in a week or so. Would love to come visit some time, but really can't afford it now, anyway! Hoping after the world settles a little. A ...
