Dennis, if you haven't yet ordered the LAN-USB adapter, please hold off. I am having doubts about if this arrangement will work. In the meantime, I have sent an email inquiry off to the cantenna's maker for more information. Will let you know when I receive a reply.

Hi Dennis, found a LAN to USB adapter on eBay that might work. It is $3.

No problem Dennis. It would be worth $100 if I could use it as well. We are both in the same boat, except mine doesn't have wheels.

Hello Dennis, have been doing some checking on the Roku and it looks like the built in wireless or ethernet connection (LAN, cable or DSL router) or nothing. Their top of the line model does have a USB port, but it is input only (memory stick, digital camera input, that sort of thing). It won't work...

My room (office) is only 9X12. I used to have a 46" Sony Bravia HDTV until our living room set went belly up and the wife took it. I would have had a larger set, only that the 46" set was the largest that would fit in my entertainment cabinet. I'm now using my mom's old (1987) 19" Zen...

FYI 42" screen is not too big. With the advent of HDTV, being close to a large viewing screen is no longer an issue. With old television, the lines of resolution was an issue if you were too close to the screen, not to mention potential X-ray exposure. These days, big is beautiful.

When you get your new TV, just remember to get one capable of 1080p resolution (if over 40" screen) and use the HDMI connection.

I don't know as I'm not at all familiar with the PS3, Wii, or Xbox. You would have to check with that item's support folks to find out about what sort of video services they have access to.

Hi Dennis, I came across one of these things a little over a year ago. I wasn't that interested due to limited programming available at the time and didn't know that it had wireless capability (the operator had it plugged into his DSL service). Just got off chat with Roku support and it looks like u...

Interesting... when my father retired, there was a Cadillac in the driveway and a swimming pool in the backyard (he had an 8th grade education). Today, 8th grade education means you might be able to speak english.

Same thing with my 1960 Rambler American. Only happened once though, on the way to a Nicotine Snowshoe meeting (No Yo Ho Renge Kio). Strange thing was that when the clutch items fell out, I picked them up and after putting them back, no further problems ever.. Weird.

A friend of mine has one of these (2 wheel drive, standard transmission). So far over 300k miles on the clock and going, going, going... The inline 6 is the old Rambler engine. A real toughie.

I think things are "ok" for now... heck, its damn cold where most folks are posting from and it is the weekend.

On the other hand, I might be full "o" crap and the forum is in dodo (dudu?) trouble... yikes!

You're quite right Dennis. Sharkey does an admirable job at keeping those pesky Russian scratch 'n itch spam pest at bay. This is one itch that I'm happy to scratch.

Here's to you Sharkey... THANK YOU

Our pool is salt water now... we're halfway there.
