Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
I've been with Good Sam's since the start. My coverage is only for the other guy--no collision or comprehensive so my policy doesn't draw undue attention. I know how hard it can be to find coverage so I watch my expiration date like a hawk. I also have towing with GS but have never used it. The rate...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. Despite the world wide medical crisis I spent a pleasant long afternoon session with my little bus. I decided it was time to check how my house batteries were holding up, do a little cleaning and top off the water in the batteries. I removed the side cover panel, released the battery tray...

I am no longer able to post pics via postimage.org. My last successful pic post was 1/17/2019. Any ideas? Thanks Jack

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
A continuation of the last posting try. Better luck this time but still no pics. Band-aids and stuff. Figure I might as well get the bad stuff out of the way first. In my last post of 2018 I was just heading out for a Christmas camp out—it was the only excuse I could find to keep from having to atte...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. As threatened earlier I'm going to try to update things a little. I am not much of a computer guy so I'll apologize first if my post doesn't work-- I'm trying to copy and paste a word doc. Next I'll apologize for being so wordy should it happen to post. Jack [url=https://postimg.cc/kDsYTn...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. Figured I'd better at least drop a year's end note. I promise to do an update early in the year but for now I'll wish you all a happy holiday season! Jack

Re: '46 Chevy by Tango
Tango (Donald Tucker) passed away earlier this month after a long fight against lung cancer. He maintained an upbeat attitude right to the end. That along with his skills as a fabricator, artist and helpful nature made him a special person.

+Photo fotofu----er bucket has indeed re-upped about 90% of my photos! It makes my small contribution here once again seem worthwhile. All my blather is fine but the pics really make it all hang together. I sure hope a bunch of other --is it threads?--come back together, so much well put together in...

Interesting up-date. Thanks. I usually check this forum a couple of tines a day but missed this one when it was fresh. We'd Taken the 4x4 Tahoe to Anza Borrego state park to check out the Ca. wild flowers and a great show it was! Jack

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. My little bus is somewhat dependent on compressed air. The entry door is pneumatic and the Toad supplemental brake system uses compressed air to apply the brakes. I will install a pressure gauge in the dash when I find just the right one (Probably don’t really need a gauge because the doo...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. We're back from our annual "Lake Mead" trip all safe and sound. Unfortunately the bus didn't fare as well. I pulled off the freeway in Baker, Ca. with the intent of slowing enough to let me fire up my A/C and get back on the fwy--which I did but not before driving through an ope...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. We're back and other than being a little wet (not in the bus) we had a great time. I'd post pics but the place looks the same as it did the last time I posted pics. The BB1230 works as advertised which makes it easier for us to dry camp than before. Somewhere along the line the low pressu...
