Re: New commuting vehicle

I really love this idea. I've been looking at something like a Rhoades Car or a Workman Team dual trike(or fabbing up a combination of both) for a long time but could never afford to buy one. I want the extra seating capacity so I could take my Dad with me and the basket for trips to the market. I'd...

Re: 1989 S1600 White Rhino

Deck Fitting w/ Dress Ring. top of page I saw that part but it doesn't mention that it's part of a kit, that may be where my confusion about the parts lies. I haven't emailed them yet but my need for info is based on what I need to do in the interior, like how far from the pipe do I need to cut the...

Re: 1989 S1600 White Rhino

That helps in that you are pointing out what I don't see here in the states. While the directions are rather vague(imo) I did not know there were flue kits. I have never seen them advertised or as part of a parts list so that's definitely something I'll be looking into. The spec sheets are no longer...

Re: What I did on Saturday

I don't know why but the first thing I thought of when I saw the shed up on those pilings was boat house! I pictured the creek flooding enough that if there was a hole in the floor of the shed you could lower a small boat down and tour the flood plain. Just my imagination getting carried away. Time ...

Re: 1989 S1600 White Rhino

The link I posted was the installation instructions and I didn't see anything in there regarding what to use in the ceiling around the hole, just the roof. I'm guessing I would need more than 2" clearance around any wood but I'm unsure how far away it should be from the stove pipe and what to p...

Re: 1989 S1600 White Rhino

Question: Eventually I'll be installing a heater but I will have to consider what I need to do with the roof and ceiling and as soon as I can, I need to repair and seal the roof. With that in mind, I'd rather use whatever fire safe materials are necessary when I get the roof sealed rather than redo ...

Re: Im not sure ware this goes but it's pretty cool

Wonderful! Someday I will have my tiny house! Most likely on a truck frame but still...a pipe similar to that could work!

Nice! Do you mind putting up some pics of what parts you are working on or have mentioned? I don't know too much about bicycles or the electric parts either.

Re: 1989 S1600 White Rhino

I'm going to try and find some parking where I can work on my truck as well so I'm not actively looking for campgrounds but thank you. I'll hit up the campgrounds as shower fillers in between my shower tickets and as I can afford to stay in them. I really want to use the majority of my money paying ...

Re: 1989 S1600 White Rhino

Okay, things are almost all set up for the new place a friend referred me to for parking my truck.... It's less expensive than where my truck is parked now, it's almost a half mile closer and I'll have access to air and power during off times when there are no trucks around. This will be limited sin...

Re: Insurance BAH!!!

I'll check them out as soon as I get my address changed to SD. A state trooper is coming out with the portable scales to weight my truck and they do it for free. YAY!
