I think that's Mark and Ann's bus. They live up the river from Waldport. They built it when their kids were younger to go to Mexico. I don't know if they still have it or not.

I have had my batteries for 5 years. About 1600 Amps. 5 or 6 months a year I use them heavely. Everyday down to 75% or so. The other time I use them lightly. Most people are getting at least 10 years or more out of these Trojan L16H 6 volt. I hear!! Mine seem to be acting just like they always have....

Ahhh Yes, I remember it well. And I'm sorry if I stepped on you, But it was hard to see in the dark after being up all night in the hot springs on acid, with or without a flashlight. I was there last summer and the Forest Service is taking care of it now. I think it cost about 5 bucks but it was sti...

Are you sure? That looks like the same picture you showed me last year. I was wondering about you. The news from Summit is 37 days of rain or snow and wind. How are you doing in this cold with your neck screwed up? Should I send someone to check on you? The weather here is trying to drift back to no...

Hi Dennis, 1580 Watts. They work great. In the winter with the sun down in the sky my batteries, 1580 amps, are at 100% at about 1:00. This is the first year I've had all the appliances in except the washer/dryer ( next year ) and it seems to be working out well. I thought about fancy mounting quite...

Happy New Years eve. Hope Trace is still on the getting better side of things. All is well here. We're waiting for the Mexicans to go home from the holidays so we can clean the place up and go back to quiet again. La Nina has the water cooler than normal, other than that things are pretty much norma...

We are in Gila Bend Az, for the night on our way to Bisbee, Az then south from there. We went to Slab City for a few days to check it out. Everyone we met were great from people living under tarps to people in motorhomes worth hundreds of thousand. I could feel the freedom (lack of government) when ...

It is 22 deg now and everything is white with frost. To me that means face to the south and run like the wind. Sorry I didn't get down to visit this year. Next Year. I've been very busy trying to squeeze more out of less. We got a little more done on the bus, 10 gal hot water heater, gas, electric, ...

Hi Sharky, I drop by every few days to see whats shakin'. I'm starting on the kitchen. I have the propane cookstove/oven, sink, gas/electric/heatexchanger hotwater heater, waterfilters. Hi Geoff, I have Hughes.Net. I pay $59.99 a month for the residential plan. Wild blue and I believe Starband are a little cheaper But I need to be mobile and I need a particular Hughes satellite to get the coverage I need for my migration. My limit is about 175 MB an hour, if I remember correctly. I...

I'm with you, If you have falling water go for that. No matter what you do it all cost money up front. First off I know nothing. I've never had this thing up in the air. I've read that the 403's were noisy. The Air-x is supposed to be quieter than the 403 and a little different technology. Super mag...
