Re: 1955 Chevy 6700 Bus RV
Since photo f----er-- bucket started jacking everyone around I've been using Postimage.org. It is free and easy enough to use and allows for direct posting here on nomadicista. So far so good. I don't save my pics anywhere but on my own computer and even that I back up regularly--but then what do I ...

Re: 1955 Chevy 6700 Bus RV
Best post in a long time! Thanks! Won't ask about how the black tank got emptied--Wify still blames me for the death of our willow in the patch where I cleaned out my new to me black tank--after dark. Ha! We'd all like to see a few pics of your project. Since Photof--er--bucket went sower I've been ...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. I just completed the installation of a Sterling BB1230 in my little bus. I have just begun trials with it and this is what I've found to date: 1) STUDY the installation manual--lots of tricky concepts there. 2) Keep in mind Ohm's Law. Voltage equals Current times Resistance. When I first ...

My slides came from Accuride and are rated at 350# per pair. Accuride makes heavy duty slides up to 1300# per pair. You might look in the online Granger catalog as well. Jack

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. Just a quick update. In preparation for installing a Sterling Products (England) battery to battery charger I decided to upgrade my battery tray to a roll out version. Well, I managed to make an addition to the "nothing is ever simple" File. I read stuff upside down just as easi...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. We are just back from a little outting and it was a great success. We met up with a friend and his 1950 Chevy PU and just relaxed (and ate). The PU has a '71 Chevy 250 with a close ratio 4 spd stick and just purrs. The weather was cooperative with daytime temps in the low 80's with a ligh...

Re: Dusty's Bus
Hey Dusty. I'm on my way for a short camp out in the company of a friend who camps out of a 1950 Chevy PU with an aluminum shell. Anyway, it made me think of you so I thought I'd just check in to see how all is going. Give me a shout when you get the chance. Jack

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. Way off topic here but---- This is not bus related exactly but it does give me a smig of hope for mankind and I'd like to share the good vibe. I'm a picky old SOB so I expected the worst. Wiffy and I decided to replace our 35 plus year old roof (Gotta keep the bus dry!) just because. Its ...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Unbelievable! Someone at Photobucket must have thrown the wrong switch--hope it lasts because without the pics my posts are more than a little dry. Thanks for the heads up Stuart. Jack  Just a quick edit: Though I have all the PB pics back I seem to have lost my more recent Postimage contri...

Re: 1935 Chevy school bus
Hello All. Just thought I'd say hello as I don't have much to report other than the repairs on my toad are done. I'm looking forward to a "camp out" at a local vintage travel trailer show next weekend. I'll share the happenings after. Jack
