I thank you all for the great wishes for my birthday. I did have a lovely time, but fear I am getting "more wreckless" with my advanced age :D

I must admit, I don't know when anyone else's birthday's are to wish anyone else a birthday  . People are going to have to step forward and post their own birthdays so we can wish you all a happy birthday. So, today was mine. Happy birthday to me :) .

Here's one I found on craigslist a little closer to you.
Here's another:

Dennis, keep in mind I am not a mechanic, and have made no claims to being one. I have however, owned two different Ford pickups with the 460 engine. The best mileage I ever got out of either of them was about 7 or 8. It sucked big time. I had lots of power, I won't dispute that. My first 460 was an...

I know sometimes, Governor's are set for as close as possible, to a particular "speed". School districts - some of them - have their buses set so the driver's can't go over 60. At least, that is what the mechanics told me where I worked at. They said it was for my protection - I coul...

Doug, now this last one is the one I really like. I do know where one is sitting not far from me, but it's not for sale. I have also cooked on one like that a couple of times. Yes, those were good stoves, and nice looking, also.

Wow Dennis, those are cool. The list is endless as to what can be done with metal. Here is the finished chair, with it's cushions on it. All it needs now is the porch done so it can be mounted on to it :) . http://i41.tinypic.com/mto5n4.jpg The color doesn't show up quite as nice as I would like.

Chuck, yep. I hear the interstate batteries are supposed to be good ones. A friend of mine here in town deals in them. And, I promised her rep. that I would "promote" them in exchange for one of his calendars this year. :)

Here's one for you to check out. However, I do not have any idea what the bus looks like, just found it on craigslist.

Popi, I can't answer any of your technical questions. What I can tell you is this, some of the rural school districts (like around me), some of the buses here don't do much stop and go to acquire their miles. For example, my route I had was about an hour and a half of drive time in the morning, and ...

Ok, this isn't the best photo of the stool, weather has been too nasty to finish the painting. However, this shows what it will look like painted a little better. It's sitting on my back deck. It will be bolted to the back porch on the bus. http://i44.tinypic.com/elcvoh.jpg I have also made cushions...

Here in a few months once the school districts get their new buses in for the next season, and start selling off the old ones, the price will be a little lower on bus. Especially, if you can go straight to the school district ahead of time, let them know of your interest. Lots of the school district...

I am so sorry nobody answered this. Somehow I over looked it. The price is fair, if it had air brakes. I am really not the best to judge that, though. I know nothing about the different engines to be able to say one way or the other. Yes, if you are mechanically inclined, and can keep them juice bra...
