While the crew was having lunch, Zac used the superfork machine to break up some dirt so that Gary could haul it out of the way with his tractor. http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g385/Rudytoons/Underground%20House/4054.jpg http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g385/Rudytoons/Underground%20House/405...

Three poles have been set. Now the giant "strong-finger" machine goes for another log from the bullpen. http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g385/Rudytoons/Underground%20House/4050.jpg The bullpen where lonely logs are patiently waiting to be put in to play. http://i1099.photobucket.com/alb...

Here are some hooks that Gary has on the back of his Ford tractor. I must mention now that both Gary and CJ have been of tremendous help on this project. They both volunteer their time and tools. Here are some pics of Gary hauling the cedar logs to the staging area where they will be cut flat on the...

The initial try of setting one upward.

The lifting of the first post. It is a 20 footer. It is cedar, as well as all the other post. At this point we were not sure how we would be able to set this post. http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g385/Rudytoons/Underground%20House/4042.jpg http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/g385/Rudytoons/Under...

Today was a big day. Eight posts were set. At first, it was trial and error, but once a method was established, the setting of the poles went quicker. The "sky boom" machine arrived this morning at Gary's house, up the road. There was room for the big truck and trailer to turn around there...

Now on to the rental place. As with the farm supply store, Zac went in to do the transactions. The item that stood out noticeably is the wind powered electric tower. It is called Skystream. It's rated capacity is 2400 watts. I don't know how much it costs. I am sure you can find info on it through G...

We got the rebar at a place that just deals in rebar.

Then we went to a HUGE farm supply store where we got the hydraulic hose for Gary's tractor.
