Well done Jack, open and airy.

What is the black and white with round top in the foreground of one picture? Air conditioner?

Have you gotten the overheating sorted out yet?

She's ready to roll

SHE'S READY TO ROLL Due to prior commitments I wasn't able to help last weekend. Scott got the very generous offer from a local construction company to let him borrow the needed tires. They had bought a number of buses pretty much just to get the tires. So he loaded up truck and trailer and took the...

Re: Different Wisdom

Good to hear things are going well, if not as originally planned.
It's in a temporary position
I think my whole bus fits that description. The need for something to work now, before the ten other things needed to be done to make it permanent, seems to take precedence. :)

Re: Fun with the Phantom

How heavy is it when loaded? I picture some sort of swing away, but if it ends up too heavy might be a problem when off to the side.

Re: Fun with the Phantom

I have read that they aren't really all that accurate for torquing with a torque wrench, but I think that close is better than not at all, especially on something like a bus/truck lug nut. The really do work well for taking lug nuts off, my son has one of the ebay non USA ones. We've used it on my s...

Scenicruiser #805

What a great way to spend fathers day weekend. Many of you know that Scott (332) bought a Scenicruiser and that he and I were going to make the trek north of Chicago this last weekend to try to get it so that it can be driven home. We loaded everything we could think of that we might possibly need i...

Re: Fun with the Phantom

Looks like fun. The campground was full of young people and their kids. I don't recall when I've seen so many kids We're leaving tomorrow morning for a short getaway. Since we're both retired we usually go during the week. This state campground is only 8 miles away, there's a good chance we'll have ...

Re: Different Wisdom

I feel your pain, I obsessed about tires for over a year (and drove on some really bad old ones) I actually bought mine off of craigs list. The rears are new recaps that a local mobile mechanic was getting rid of. The steers were listed locally, but the guy I talked to was in LA, his company in WI a...
