Re: Battery Price
They will be wired for 48 volts. The only 4 appliances are the fridge, a coffee machine, 32” flat screen tv and maybe a small microwave and they will all run on 120 volts. All the lighting is LED on 120 volt to 12 volt reducers. I am gonna run a 48 volt to 12 volt reducers to bus bar for the toilet ...

Re: Battery Price
I just got 4/ Renogy 12 volt 200 ah AGM's for $369.00 each for my 48 volt bank in my little rolling house. I wanted to go with lithium LiFePO but I just couldn’t swing it. Good OL golf cart lead acid batteries are still the best bang for the buck but I didn’t want the mess of maintenance in the house.

Giving thanks
On this day back in 1988 my 4 year old daughter turned up missing. On that day I had reached a level of fear and anger that was new to me. It was frightening. It was on that day that I realized I was capable of hurting someone if I didn’t ask for help in finding her. Well, long story short. Some whe...

Re: Tiny house on a trailer
Hey there Dusty. I also ordered a 48 volt small wind turbine to go along with the 4/sharp 175 watt pv panels. Stuart, I've been busy with coming money work so I haven't done much on the little house but things should slow down soon so I'll get back to it.

Re: Peel and stick solar panels
Our state in it's infinite lack of wisdom passed a law last year that allows - actually appears to require - that electric utilities must charge home/business owners who install solar to pay a "fee" that can be as much as $25,000. I am not sure what to expect when I get started on this - ...
