Spring is the OK time for sure. Glad to hear you're mobile again. Don't know how it is around you, but it's bicycle time around Chicago. Couldn't function w/out 4 wheels, but a bike is way healthier and cheaper for small local stuff and just cruising.

Sounds like a big change of pace, Lois. The topsides of a boat that doesn't move really do accumulate green stuff - and it can be pretty hard to get off. If mine get too bad I scare up a power washer unless I've got a week and I want to do penance for something... <g>

I'm not sure bio-fuel is a no brainer. That tonnage/acre that you remove to process for fuel comes from the soil - that means you're pretty quick running on empty soil-wise unless you add back - as in fertilize.
