I love these kinds of ideas! My first one was made from bricks, heavy duty aluminum foil and a window pane. I think it took something like 4 hours to bake some cookies. Or maybe that was to just heat up. It's been awhile.

I know the advantages and disadvantages of propane. When I used to work for Exxon I was filling canisters daily. Still doesn't take away the memories of that day. I don't live anywhere that I'd be forced to use natural gas either. Internal combustion engines are not open flames. I'll save for the so...

I've been going through that since the death of my mom. I gotta get to dad!

An acquaintance and his wife owned a frybread wagon that they pulled around the powwow circuit in Ohio. One day something happened and the truck caught on fire. It exploded and his wife was inside. She died days later from the burns.

I remain single now to spare that poor man from what would turn into punishment for us both. Things start out okay, they always do. But once the things that are "wrong" with me from the brain damage become more obvious, they want to "fix" me. These things cannot be fixed and they...

I'll be hanging out with my sister this spring, she's been wildcrafting for years and now it's my turn. Were lucky in that we have vast access to ancestral indigenous plant usage.

Forgot to add that I'll also be picking up a food dehydrator.

Brewers yeast is a cooked byproduct from the fermentation of alcohol beverages. Since I'm eliminating highly processed and cooked foods to become a raw foodie, it's not something I'll be using. Spirulina is a whole food and I will be using it if I can't keep my proteins at an appropriate level. Righ...

Thanks for all of the above! Right now I am physically unable to do a lot of my own work as well as not knowing how to prioritize what needs to be done nor doing it. It won't always be this way. After my surgery on Tues. they say I have about a month of recovery time if everything goes like they are...

I'm going through the rust issue with my car right now. It sits way more than is driven and I get all sorts of noise and some friction until I drive it around town for a good bit of time. The rust comes back just as quickly with the snow melting off, rain, etc that's been going on.

Please see the sticky thread at the top of the forum to read the simple rules. It took me awhile to figure out what I thought was wrong and finally realized the sticky was missing and I already posted something. When the server event has settled and you have time would you mind putting the rules up...

Hahaha, Dennis you're awesome! I haven't tried the wheatgrass as of yet, I'll be able to get a sprouter next month to do up my own. I no longer use soy products since the vast majority of soy, especially coming from the U.S., has been genetically modified or altered in some way. It's not "origi...
