Any Raw Foodies?

I've been dabbling with green smoothies and such and weaning myself off meat these last few weeks. I've got much needed jaw surgery coming up on Tuesday that will cause me to be unable to chew for quite awhile. Rather than shocking myself with a new way of eating after surgery, I've been working my ...

You should be able to do ok for 3 to 6 grand. I think Rudy was telling about a GM bus something like mind for around 5 grand. It's worth a look for that price, I like the GM's 8) Did you do any work on yours Dennis or did you pick yours up with goodies already installed? If you did any work I'd rea...

Thanks Mark, I'm pretty ignorant to the actual mechanics. The best I can do most of the time is knowing that I can flip a button on the shifter and get another set of gears for doing so.

LOL, well thanks Dennis. On the opposite side of the coin you(or at least that awesome avatar of peace) helped interest me enough to join. Happy, peaceful people are who I like to be around. AND, I really want to know more about your ride! I'm going to go check out your website! I've seen a few eith...

Keep a backup or copy of the members list and contact info.

That way if the worst happens you can restart and invite us all back to the new digs!

For me the mini cal and upcoming events overlaps onto the poster information box.

I'm using Firefox with a 1280 x 960 widescreen resolution if that makes a difference.

Wow, saw that and BAM Robbie Robertson's "Somewhere Down the Crazy River" started flowing into my gray matter. It's one of my favorite songs ever!

Here is a pic of one of the hard working helpers. Pup in Boots I've heard Malinois are awesome dogs for this type of work. That's a great story Stealth, so glad there is some good happening. So glad the NZ folk are checking in here. I have some gaming friends that I hadn't heard from since the quak...

It's an Allison, so even though it is an automatic, it is mechanical, not torque convertor. If I'm not mistaken, so can be used manually for holding a low gear. I'm a fair bit rusty in the tranny area since I was "in to" them(think Super Slide) but this sounds like my car, in that I can s...

I've had some of my best times travelin' and truckin' down in LA, been to Mardi Gras, been crawdadin' and catfishin'. Life is definitely looser and more relaxed there.

The humidity chases me away faster than the bugs do. Winter in LA is usually tshirt weather for me, lol.

I'm a bit cautionary as I've been stalked online before. Most of my private info that I relinquish online(outside the nature of the discussion I'm in) is in the form of voice chatting rather than posting it or, since I asked Sharkey if he did consulting, or asked the list about communes similar to w...

your fully converted bus doesn't weigh even a third as much as a fully-laden tractor and trailer, so you don't have nearly as much to hold back on the grades as they do. Now, having said that, I'm really glad my bus has an exhaust brake! Hey now, I only had about 30,000 lbs in the wagon! Sha...
