I'm sorry, I thought I saw 4 speed somewhere. It's an assumption on my part when someone posts how many forward gears they have I automatically think manual.

Rudy, as a general rule of thumb using the same gear down as up is a good gauge but there are some caveats worth mentioning. First is the most important of all; if you are unsure about stopping DON'T MOVE until you have satisfied yourself that you have adequate braking for what you want to do. If yo...

I did check that out but would prefer the body remain mostly intact. Too much of that has been cut away for my liking but thanks for putting up the add. After seeing that tv bus you picked up I'm really interested in that too. I do have to keep in mind that I'd have to have power steering and prefer...

I'll be deciding quite a bit of it as I go along but I'm definitely going to reduce my book population, kitchen table set, knick knacks, a couple of fake fireplaces, some cowgirlish looking living room furniture(love seat and chair) and some kitchen items. It's mostly "stuff" and I'll need...

I used to subscribe to Mother back in the 80's right before it went political and readership dropped. I picked it back up again when they went back to the old format. I haven't read it regular in quite awhile other than picking up the occasional issue but I'd love to start reading it again. I'll tak...

I'll have to add that I am also sorting, cleaning, tossing and planning to sell/donate a lot of "stuff" in anticipation of going mobile.

As I enjoy the 3" of snow we got last night. :D

That sucks Stealth and you are not alone, something similar happened to me with the flu-like symptoms and bleeding but mine was where the sun doesn't shine. I've been experimenting going raw and I can say that after one month of experimenting I have reduced symptoms in a lot of things including arth...

Now that's an interesting cutaway. I think I know what I'm going after now. The GM 4106!

As long as it has power steering!

But then again, I'm sure liking a TON that Crown postal you picked up!

I did see that, it's where I got the idea that it would make Crown ownership difficult for me if I wasn't able to locate a set of those tools.

Among all your other projects, do you do electrical consulting for the rolling home crowd?

Thanks for the links Sharkey. Really good reads although it's too bad that many of the pic links are dead. I've noticed in my travels around the web for bus research that many links have expired. It's too bad that much of the information wasn't preserved on something like Wikipedia. One thing I'm co...
