Well, in doing some reading on the Pardo site, on some other sites and of course here, so far I'm liking what I've read about both the GM 4106 and I'm gaining interest in the Crown.
I went to Buskid's website from the links but it doesn't exist.

I'm planning to be out in the Pac NW by mid Sept. to be with my dad for his birthday. Come bus or Subaru I WILL be out that way and maybe I'll be able to check out the exhibit as well. The pictures of the kitchen area of your housetruck have been VERY inspiring to me as well as the shop area. Jewelr...

Hahaha, I like that answer. It's logical too. I'm leaning towards a coach like Dennis is sporting. The more I look at it the more I like it. However, there's something about the interior of Roger's housetruck( http://www.mrsharkey.com/busbarn/roger/roger.htm ) that I find completely outstanding. The...

Hmmm, the monitor sounds reasonable, sort of. I'm not a fan of things that would distract my paying attention to what's going on around me. Yet pulling my car would be something that's going on around me. It would possibly allow me to acquire a smaller bus. I've read on some other sites about people...

Welcome Marjie! I'd certainly be interested in your step van days. =D Thanks Sharkey I'll give that Cummins thread a good read today! Mark, when looking at buses would there be a difference in performance between a front and mid engine aside from cooling on a good pull? I'm rather interested in this...

Hello Rudy! I do know where Ballard is! :) My dad was born and raised there and graduated from Ballard High School. I spent a lot of summers around Shilshole, watching the container cranes at the port, the locks and eating fish and chips at I think Ivar's. I lived around the SeaTac area for about 15...

Thanks Mark! I have no experience with buses at all and certainly want something that can pull it's weight. I can understand slowing some on steep grades but hitting the top of something like the Grapevine or even Cabbage at 15 mph when my gross is barely 15k and blowing steam out the cap isn't my i...
