'65 Bristol Bus

Post by Granny »

Craigslist has this real cool '65 Bristol bus listed for sale. Maybe somebody can catch the picture and post it here?

It's a Double decker, Diesel engine, manual transmission.

Wow, I wish it were closer to me, I think it would make a very attractive housebus!! Swap in a IH466DT, maby an Allison MT643, and a different rear axle for more highway speed.

I looked at her yesterday - missing upper front glass - lots of water damage & rust and the flooring is very soft ( buckled badly on lower deck) so alot of work needed . The pics don't show any of that .
Hope everybody is doing well - I 'm keeping a low profile & hoping for sunnier
days .
Peace- Joanne

It is no suprise to find that the pictures don't show some of the more ugly facts- most folks seem to forget to show everything, the good and the bad when trying to sell something. :( That's why it is always good to see it in person and make an inspection when possible! Thanks for the report Joanne! :)

I was disappointed when I saw the shape she was in - first time I've been able to get out in awhile & was hoping for a sign ... but tomorrow is a new day. Anyway you would have to be on the midget side for this one ( fine for me but if you are over 5'6" forget about it ) even has a sign inside - Mind your head when standing!!!

till later D - be safe
