Gotta love it!!
The Scenic Cruiser is the high point of bus design (except for schoolies...).

If I had the money I would probably be tempted. $ 2,300 for the next schoolie is gonna happen quicker than $ 23,000 for that, though. Sad moment...

Thanks for the post - I really enjoy looking at it.

I had quite a few talks with the old boy that owns that great old rig and all the tuff stuff has already been done along with all "custom made" insulated windows to fit the old school holes still in there crates. He would talk on the 23 grand. If it was closer to me I would have went ahead and bought it and used all the furniture and equipment that I have for my 4905 and moved that along. I just couldn't head to TX until the end of the summer. But I will say Im really glad I found this old 4106, we have become good friends 8)

Yeah, that's my most favorite bus in this world! Sadly the moths are starving in my wallet, too, and it ain't gonna happen for me either... :(

That's the second one I've seen on eBay this year...couldn't afford the other one either...some day...maybe...

Thanks for posting it, Dennis, I can still dream!

This one has shown up on CL and E-bay more than a couple of times already.

Eventually the price will be such that someone will purchase it.

The problem is there are a lot of really nice completed conversions that are selling for that price.

From the sound of it he probably has got that much money tied up in it, not counting any labor he has done himself, It would be a good start for someone to do a build on a refurbished bus, would love to have it but that's too deep for my pocket.

If my experience in past is indicator, he probably has a lot more than $23k in that bus. And that much worth of time to boot. There is a lot done there.

He has way more that in time and him and his brother cut no corners when it came to parts.

Yea...that second one is a driver and is totally complete. That looks like a nice bus for a very decient price.

As much time & money as the first on has in it, I think he's on drugs for trying to get $23K outta it!

You NEVER get your money back for your labor. (I sure didn't for the panel truck I just sold!)
