I registered the bus in Tenn.

Chuckles, did you say you want me to put my privates on the side of my bus?

Good Sam club service is pretty good.

I have State Farm for my car/truck and they insured my bus as motorhome for about $400 per year. (I stopped it due to no job, but am getting ready to put it back on the road.)

Good Sam's club also has insurance - if I remember right, it is also GMAC.

Also, found a little company called Foremost that insures RV's reasonably. They SAID they would insure me, but haven't gotten quote or bought it yet.

Geico has been good for me...cheap (and they came through great when I had to ram that dump truck) they also insure everything inside your home and have roadside service and towing.
Dont confuse them with explaining about a bus or conversion...if it is registered as a motorhome then just call it a motorhome.
Wherever I am...I am home.

Yes I did, one private on each side. And don't let them stick together in the middle, or you may never get them apart again.

Chuck, that's a very good idea about putting Private signs on his bus. I'm going to do the same thing. I already bought a couple of Beware of Dog signs to put on both doors.

I'm also going to find a cast iron door knocker of some kind to put on the front door. I think on the back door I'm gonna put a small sign that says "Use Other Door"

One of my bumper stickers reads: "I Brake For Hallucinations" the other reads: "If you can read this, I'm about to be your hood ornament"...don't seem to have problems with tailgaters, heh!

This home is protected by a .44 Magnum 3 days a week.

You guess which three....
What Chuck mentioned(motor coaches on scales) I used to see quite often and unless they wanted a freebie weight, never understood why they went across them.

One thing that I've been reading that hangs people up with insurance companies is "fulltimers" insurance. Many places won't insure you if you live in it full time.

I've been perusing some of the skoolie sites to get more information on this.

Full time living is a problem with trailers and buses. The companies don't like that at all.

Love the bumper sticker - used to have one with that text (different style) on the homemade wooden bumper on my 61 VW beetle. Need one for the bus.
(SWMBO may not like it...)
