Jerry, it's good you are back safe.
T-Minus 57 days. Today was fruitful. I got all 13 of the upper running lights with the exception of one yellow one in the middle working.
The lower row now works as well with the exception of the two on the sides at the rear of the bus.
On each side near the front, there are two marker lights that blink with the turn signals. A cool discovery.
I was perplexed that when I pulled the headlight switch on, the lower running lights and the ones in the front bumper went out when the headlights went on. The rear taillights stayed on regardless if the headlight switch was on parking lights or headlights.
I deduced that the headlight switch was shutting the parking lights off when the headlights were on. A continuity check confirmed that that was indeed how the headlight switch was functioning.
Chuckles called me today and we discussed my dilemma to be able to keep parking lights on when the headlights were on.
I told him I wanted to put the lower level running lights on their own switch
so he suggested I use the same switch that runs the top lights.
I ran a wire and connected both sets to one switch. It was too much of a load and would kick the internal circuit breaker.
I disconnected an old switch that ran interior dome lights, which are no longer there. It conveniently had it's own circuit breaker box. Not only that, it is located right beside the upper level light switch. I now have two switches on the side panel next to each other.
I reassembled the dash and am happy to report that the headlight switch is functioning properly.
So the outside lights are 90% finished.

Good job Rudy!
Sorry for confusing you in any way, I was kinda thinking out loud when we were talking. After I got off the phone, I thought all those lights might be too much load for that switch...but then I thought "He will never notice a wire melting when his brakes are smoking on the downhill grades anyway"

Sorry Rudy

Now it's time to do the money shuffle so we can go again.

Good run Jerry!
I'm glad you made it back OK.
Do you have any new photos to share?

Found an inetersting parking spot in El Paso Tx (actually Sunland Park NM)
Sunland Park race track...right off the 10 fwy, free parking in the lot or there is full hook-ups for only $10...they only have 8 spots..but it is very cheap. Also...you can watch the horses racing right from the comfort of home!
