I kinda stopped listening to new music after Iraq. Dunno, why, prolly because we spent too much time in the bush listening to NPR (gag). Soooo,
I have a list of old music I used to like but don't ever listen to anymore. Hmmmm, that isn't how I'd be seen either.
My latest favorites...
1. Disturbia
2. Nas ne dogonyet by tATu
3. One Of The Living by Tina Turner
4. Carmean, by Sido
5. either Copperhead Road or Enter Sandman (depends on the mood)

I still like NPR!

But those last two are in my top 5, too. With the other 5.

I got family that lives on Copperhead Road...Tennessee moonshine is the best! Arkansas and Oklahoma shine is pretty good, too! Some other things aren't too bad, either!

And listening to SWMBO when she has been hanging with sisters for a while - whew! Hot melted butter on fresh hot biscuits with honey over the top! Love those voices! (East Tennessee voices)

It's like Moon Pies and RC Cola! A southern thing...

I like NPR also...Saturdays are the best! Car Talk, Wait Wait, and some others. Maybe we could start up a new show called "Bus Talk?" 8)

How about the top five songs that YOU like to sing! Whether its to yourself or in a band. I have a whole different list for ones I sing myself!
1. Ballad of Curtis Loew
2. High on a Mountain Top
3. One Tree Hill
4. Turn the Page
5. Midnight Rider

Then of course there is anything from Argo Cameron's Waters of Kylesku or everything on this album

Was sitting here at work yesterday day dreaming about a bus trip. Going through kind of alternating manic phases. So, pulled up a couple of videos on the web browser, put on the headphones and just alternated between Lady Gaga and The Rolling Stones.

May do the same this afternoon.

If I could only play a 6 string even a quarter as well...

That old receiver is cool and the candle light reflection flickering in the window, nice atmosphere.
