I have to go find the CD of that album named Old And In The Way with Peter Rowan and Jerry Garcia. What a GREAT album.

Rudy,
Don't be a PITA, post some answers to the fill in the blanks. Don't make me start googling the answers either....I have too much old engine stuff to research now....

That was just one of the song titles from that album. I don't know all the words. I wasn't really asking for the words. I will go back to previous posts and see if clues are needed for those songs.

Remember, googling is not fair.

My buddy Billie and a couple of his Jazz friends did a couple hour gig for the old folks at the rehab center where another friends dad is trying to make a come. All 3 of these guys have played with some of the big boys. Billie plays the standup bass. The old boy George builds his own horns and and he built a whole family of double 2 tone saxophones that are great. Babies and old folks need lovein 8)

Real nice of them....everybody knows music is good for the soul. Those old folks might not have been able to do much dancing on the outside but you can bet they were cutting a rug inside :D

My fondest moments as a musician are of making people happy..it makes the final connection :) I was playing guitar last week and a deaf guy was grooving the tunes by putting his hands on my guitar.

Last Wednesday about 1:30 pm, the powers that be decided I and guy I work with needed to be in Memphis, TN by evening, so hopped on a plane and arrived about 6:00 pm. Worked Thursday, then Friday had a little time left over before the plane ride back to Okrahoma, so did some sight seeing.

Drove downtown and looked at Beal street. It was blocked off to vehicles for the summer. There is a magnificent old building facade where the rest of the building is missing. So they took some I-beams and made a frame in the sidewalk to hold the front up. There are trees growing behind it, so it has been this way for a while.

Saw BB Kings place. Saw the pyramid (what's the point to that??).

And finally, I guess getting to the point of this whole post, we drove down to see Graceland. I have seen it before, but thought a new pic would be in order. Not as big as you would expect.

Found 3 incredible restaurants there. Was very happy camper until Sunday, when I had to prepare for my "Alien Abduction probing" at the doctor office Monday. TMI ??

I'm weird then. I've been a fan of the Ten Fingers of Doom since the Pukes of Amboy and equally a fan of the 2nd Amendment(and his opinions of it).

I'm "weird" too. I chose that word because it was the word Ted used, in sarcasm of corse.
