Northern Michigan, These folks get some snow :shock: This is why we should always keep a cord of fire wood in the bus just in case :D

Splummer heats with wood. Up there in Maine, they got ten feet of snow last year. He has to keep a big supply of wood. Here are two essential pieces of equipment. A Jonesered chain saw and a heavy duty splitter with a Tecumsah engine.

the power wagon is down for the winter, i use it to plow but will be back soon i hope, i have to finish putting her back togather, i use a 52 gmc 6x6 to plow if we get alot , small snow storms my pick up does good most of the time, i will send rudy a pic of the 6x6 if any one is interested, it has a 9 foot plow and i use chains. steve

there have been a few winters that snow plowing was almost impossible so we parked out at the end near the pavement and snow shoed in , belive me that gets real old makes for a very long winter
