My winter project is transportation--by horse. I haven't had a horse I could ride for 18 years, now I have a little Standardbred named Topanga.

So my winter project is to oil my saddle, put it back together, and go riding :) .

Luckily Topanga is small and it's not too far to the ground if I fall off, I don't bounce like I used to :(

Cheers, Lois

since the bus is snobound and sitting patiently for spring , i have decided its time to put my 51 cad hearse back together, that looks like an off and on project, i know once winters over i will want to be doing summer things, so me thinks this is a good time for my caddy

Wish I were sailing. I'm crawling around behind knee walls shoveling loose-fill cellulose from 40 years ago under the floor where it belongs. Then back to wiring. Got the sub-panel installed and just about got the 5 kitchen circuits completed. Then back to plumbing where all this started (!).

Quiet here, cold but no snow. I have to drain the water tank on my boat and get her sealed up for winter, she goes to the boat yard for repairs after New Year's if the weather is decent.

I am pleased, everyone who sees her, loves her. So being a lady pirate in the 21st century has paid off.

We didn't have much of a garden this year and we've spent most of the year renovating the bathroom a little at a time. Hopefully another few weeks and that will be done.

My van doesn't fit in my carport so we built a big storage room out there, which helped clear out a lot of the excess clutter in the house.

Next year we're planning to finish landscaping the yard and then renovate the kitchen.

We're keeping busy

Cheers, hugs to everyone

Thanks Steve,

The project I'm NOT liking is the bathroom reno, it's turned into a bigger job than I like and some days I feel like I'm going in reverse.

Something had better start happening, I do believe the use of chamber pots went out at the turn of the century! (took the toilet out yesterday)
