At first I thought that was a "57 Chevy on board ... the more I look, appears to be a German Amphicar ... either way, sweet. If it's an Amphicar, could work as the boat's tender and drive-about ... cool, thanks Dennis ... nice to keep the fantasies going ...

Took my new camera out the other day with a 20mm lens and polarizing filter. This was the first shot (over exposed)

I have been digital for a long time, this is one of the first shots taken with my second camera. It's still one of my favorites. Looks like I'm in a great olive orchard. It's actually two rows of trees behind a truckstop in Corning,CA.
I've tried to recreate it many times with more expensive cameras, but have never gotten the light right.
I was standing still for this one, but I have thousands of pictures of the US taken without even looking at the camera. I've gotten fairly good at getting what I shoot at.
