Chuckles, you are definitely a funny guy.

I always liked that song called Should I Stay Or Should I Go.

we just returned from wood cutting camp and what a blast, every couple of years the land that boarders us , which is state owned lets us in to cut wood that they want cut out. two other families and us go up and cut wood, although its only a few miles from us it seems like a good vacation. we ended up cutting and splitting 20 cords and got it all delivered to our houses .we all stayed there for the week , we stayed in the bus and used the duece to haul the wood home, each load holds about three cords , this time of the year camping is at its best, steve
just because you ride the bus , it doesnt make you a bus person
the bus stopped and i got on and thats how it all began

There's nothing like having a good stock of firewood on hand, all stacked and drying! Makes it easier to face winter when it come!

Indeed! I'm going to be late to the wood party this year but I'm fairly certain I'll have to pay out for pre-split cords.

We are busy driving up to Delaware off the old hwy to hit the slasher piles. There is still too much snow in the bush above Mandan to hit those piles. Still I did find a big jag of Oak right off the hwy. Dada was very greedy the first day until he through out his back. Now I take it a little more sedately...after all what is gonna happen? Is somebody going to drive 45 miles out into the middle of nowhere to try and unsnaggle a huge slasher pile? I think I have a little time before the black flies come out.

Rudy...sorry, I don't know how I managed to get that photo on this thread...I didn't mean to high jack it. It was supposed to go under your Easter Bunny photo with the red shirt on. Not sure what happened but you're welcome to move it or delete it if you'd like

Blu, you can also post it on the What Do You Look Like thread. Several of my photos are on different threads.

That's a cool pic of you youngsters.

T-Minus, just a few hours.

This is the moment that I have been preparing for.

I said some good byes today. Some were semi-tearful.

My ship is ready. My supplies are plentiful. My courage is available on demand.

Be careful on your journey, are you taking ORBIT with you, check your shadetree and make sure you didn't leave a sqezebox there, you might need it later on. REMEMBER you are not in a hurry to get to your destination, you have plenty of time to get there. Go SLOW and enjoy your trip.
