Heavy smoke from the fires in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado ... high winds yesterday, 50/60 mph gusts continuously till late evening ... calmer today, hazy but not as bad ... fires in eastern US also ... already been an interesting year with tornadoes, going to be an interesting summer.

Will check the chat through the day ... hope all have a decent memorial day weekend ...

Sorry Good Clue! I've been busy working things out, dealing with the humidity, etc. and by Sunday I'm burned out and forget. I hope the fires don't get anywhere near you.

I'm sorry you felt that way. If you checked the time in the chat window, you would have noticed that I had been in there for five hours! when you arrived. As I said at the time, I had just finished assembling a new computer and had just turned it on, therefore had to keep an eye on it. That is when they are most likely to start doing thing like smoke and catch fire. As it happened there were some issues that needed addressing straight away, which is why I got back on to say I would be further delayed in returning.

As it happened no-one else, including you returned anyway.

I'll be in and out of chat for a bit now, if anypne wants to drop by.

I've just finished a night shift, so will be getting a few hours sleep, before returning. But, don't let that stop you from chatting away without me. I'll check in when I awake.
