I think Mountain Dew still has it in there. There used to be wood rosin and I think it is still there, too. (Got some cans a few months ago, and seems like I remember those two still around.)

Name two guitar players who had bands named after them yet were not the singers in the band.

DF, good answers. I was, however, thinking of two other guitarists.

Julian Breem doesn't sing either but he plays classical guitar....so perhaps a category or clue would be appropriate. I like the trivia games, just this is sort of wide open.

Fleet wood mac? I thought Fleetwood sang on a couple of tunes though.

There was no singing with Julian Bream.

Some hints for my question.

The first guitarist is of Spanish descent. He wears a hat now because his hair is gone from the top of his head. He was once known as Devadip.

The second guitarist had an album named Joe's Garage. He rocks. He plays loud.

And NOW! I just thought of a third one.

He had a band that was called ........ That is his last name. He made a lot of instrumental albums as well. One of them was called Open Fire. Edgar Winter played on that album.

Carlos Santana ... last I heard of him was that nice little ditty with Michelle Branch....
Now the other I just flat out don't remember...
Number three, well I will have to percolate on that. Edgar Winter was pretty popular in my crowd, back in the day.

I've only seen Santana live, once in the early 90's. Carlos did lead vocals on that show. Unfortunately he only played lead guitar, I was hoping to see him play rythm as well.

WOW! I've never seen Carlos sing.

I guess that question has been disqualified. 10 points for Stuart.
