Al Gore must be hogging all that global warming to himself! :D It's been the hardest winter in SW Idaho in quite a few years. Cold, snow, rain, wind, etc.

Maby we should all throw in together and buy some land down in Arizona where we could all go in the winter. We could buy up some old schoolie buses and fix them up and just leave them down there.

so how cold is it?

dburt, Arizona was another place I almost bought land. There's some real good deals out there for as low as $500-$1000 an acre still. Granted there's no town near them for about 40 miles but who needs a stinkin town if we bring what we need with us?

8:36am and -16° below

I don't know what the windchill is...but who cares when it's - as my son used to say when he little - "colder than a witchntiddy"

so how cold is it?

1:30 PM Thursday. It's a heat wave (28 degrees). I'm gonna go to the spigot (which is 200 feet away) and fill up some jugs of water for the dogs and my toilet.

It is sunny. I love sunshine. My most favorite thing to do on this earth is to stand in the sun and play the accordion.

I am NOT moving back to Los Angeles though.

Recovering nicely here - up to high 20s today.

Last night, a little town about 40 miles north of hometown, Nowata, OK., had the record lowest temperature ever recorded in this state, forever. It got down to -31 degrees F, real temperature. Was -9 at home. And -5 where I am today. Nowata is (was?) one of my favorite areas where we are looking for some land to buy.

Bartlesville, about 20 miles west of Nowata tied its previous record at -27.

Out in the panhandle, wind chills set "records", if you count contrived artifacts for propaganda use of -46.

Supposed to be in the 50s/60s Saturday and Sunday, and at least one or two of the forecasters are saying 78 for Tuesday. No wonder this state is so wacked-out schizoid. That's a 124 degree swing in 6 days. Geezzz!!! Stop it!!! (100 degree swing in 3 days.)

Beautiful sunny 28 degrees here, too, right now.

If you weighed 80 pounds on a 5 ft 6 inch frame, you'd be freezing too
