I know what you mean, I couldn't get warm all day.

According to my calculations, our weather here is 106°F less cold than yours. :D

I get a bit grumpy when our winter temps get down to single digits , I cannot even begin to grasp what 55 below means ......

How do you survive ?

Got -30 in Iowa one winter for a few days. And was on the North Slope for a week in Feb at -20 to -30. Didn't really like either of those.

Just hope I never have to get to -55! My little portable tin can would probably become brittle and crack like an egg around me, leaving me sitting out in the weather. Feels like it at +7!

For now, am kinda stuck here. Retirement still a ways off. 'Course they might kick me out, too. Hope not.

Have a borrowed book by Charles Kuralt called strangely enough, Charle's Kuralt America. One chapter is about his travel to Key West. I had already decided I want to visit. This just reinforced that notion. And NOW would be a good time!! For about a month.

But, I MUST be back here by March 1st for the start of tornado season! Wouldn't want to miss all that fun! Gotta love storm chasing!!!!! Well, except when it broke my windshield last May.

Same here. I went to the beach today to hang out in the sun. Overnight lows will be quite a lot less than yours, though. Frost last night, and likely to rain by tomorrow. Still, a warm, sunny day is not something to waste by working.
