Here's a list of trailers and motorhomes I have had.
1957 aluminum teardrop trailer (classic small sleeper)
1964 International bus (converted. It had a wood stove also)
1964 Shasta trailer (11 foot)
1980 Chevy van (converted to a camper)
1964 Ford van (converted to a camper)
1978 Dodge class B motorhome (bubble top van)
1966 Chevy camper (as seen in the Blue Bird thread)
1972 Yellowstone trailer (22 foot)
1953 Scheibout trailer (11 foot)
1979 Dodge class C motorhome (27 foot)
1973 Blue Bird bus (converted, 33 foot)
See if you can remember all the trailers and motorhomes you have had.

I had a 1974 Mel Mar 11' camper for many years. It rode on the back of my '74 IHC 4X4 pick up. It was great for one person for short periods. It was okay for two people if they were really chummy. Any more, not so good.
I currently have a 1978 Avion 26' LeGrande that I pull with my '65 Travelall. It suffers greatly from PO disease but is very serviceable--the toilet, A/C, and reefer work and the beds are comfy. It is more than adequate for the three of us as long as we can plug in somewhere. Dry camping requires a lot of batteries to run my invertor.

Short list;
1976 International Superior bus
1976 Sportsmaster by Kit
1975 Wilderness (Fleetwood)
Still have all of them. (Yeah, I know - it's called hoarding!!)
Living in the Sportsmaster. Working on the others to make them livable. Planning on also building a larger 5th wheel.

This should be easier than the car list..
I had a few van campers first... two VW vans and a 1964 Ford Camper van. It was the desire to stand up in my vehicles that led to motorhomes.
1963 Chevy Roll Along Class C (The Enterprise) 17ft..lived in it for about 7 years.
1969 ? Chevy Class C (maybe Rudy remembers more about this one..he helped me move into it)
1972 Dodge Beaver Class C
1970 something Class A ...didnt drive it much
1969 Ford Class C
1989 Hawkins diesel pusher

I remember ALL of those units.
But, of course, you and I have been Urban Campers for a long time.
