HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Dennis called today to wish me a happy mother's day. I asked him if he was calling me a "mutha".

I called my 84 year old mother today. We had a fun filled conversation. She asked me about having had to move the bus from the mud pit that I was parked in.

I told her of my successful extraction, and how I am now parked on a gravel driveway, and won't get stuck again.

My mom also agreed that I am wise to leave a little later to avoid the flood situations where I am headed.

Mom reminded me that it was a year and two days ago when Dad died. Both my mom and I were happy that the last two hours of his life were spent at a beautiful hospice building.

I knew that he did NOT want to die in the hospital room with all the noise and sterile environment with tubes stuck in his head.

He died peacefully.

OH! Let me get back to the great talk I had with my mom today. We both laughed.

I told her that she is a very nice person, and I am glad she is my mom.
