It seems from the news reports that the 7.6 earthquake today near New Zealand was actually about 1,000 miles north? Still, I wonder if Dusty or Stuart felt anything down their way? That area is getting to be worse then the SanFran bay area for shaking.

I didn't feel a thing. There was a tidal variation of about a foot in Auckland, and was also quite a bit of tidal variation down here too, outside of the harbour.
