Same here. I had bought commercial cat food just in case the power went out, filtered some extra water, made some tea, bought some snacks.

There was more wind last night than during the "event". I feel badly for those that were affected negatively by this storm. Vermont got hammered! I'm awaiting my ride this evening so I can check out my truck. It's parked near the southern end of the Westfield River before it empties into the Connecticut River.

Seems like it was a pretty big storm, even if over-hyped just a little bit. 70 and 80 mph winds are not fun after the first 10 or 12 hours.

Headache, I hope the cat food was for a real feline, not just what was left on the shelf at the store for your own snack needs! :D

I saw on the news that there were really bad flooding issues with alot of places up and down the coastal areas. I'd rather take wind issues any day over bad flooding. At least if the wind is under 80mph or so.

Indeed! It was for my frisky feline! I make raw food for him but I wanted some back up to lessen opening up a cooler or the fridge just in case the power went out.

The Connecticut was above flood stage in some spots but my truck stayed dry. YAY!
