Just got back this morning, minus all of our checked luggage which is still somewhere in the States.
More later.

We got our luggage tonight. Looks like it had a pretty rough ride along the way but is mostly okay.
I'm still in the early stages of processing the photo's from the trip, so it will be a while before posting them.
We averaged 12.8 miles to the gallon of the lowest octane gas that was available, throughout 2,791.5 miles of often mountainous Colorado driving, in the little RV.
I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner/dweller of this fine bus.
And a master craftsman he is too! the following was hand cut with an oxyacetylene torch.

Nice. Looks like about $100 worth of acetylene to do that.... lots of detail.
Good to hear you enjoyed the trip. Am looking forward to hearing/seeing more about it.
Glad to see that bus. Have been thinking that I will raise the roof, and the transition he has is about what I was planning, so it is good to see an example of how it turns out. Forward!

Hello Stuart and all ... I believe all my previous posts from Sharkey's are still here ... click on the GoodClue bus icon and should link to posts. Also, my webpage shows pics with the history of my 46 Chevy ... http://www.goodclueproductions.com
Just found out my bus will be a small part of Lloyd Kahn's next Tiny Homes publication ... an excellent book on all forms of alternative housing, including buses and boats. His discourse on domes alone well worth the reading for any thinking of building their own shelter.
http://www.shelterpub.com They have a wonderful catalog of publications, check them out.
Stuart, a pleasure to meet you and yours in the flesh ... much better than when digital. You will always be welcome with any future visits.
Very much enjoy your pics ... http://stuartcrawfordmedia.com/america/
