Have an accordion. In fact I have had it for around 20 years now. Unfortunately, it was left abandoned in a shipping container for about eight years, which left it in a sorry state.

New accordions are very expensive instruments, so I have decided to attempt reconditioning the one I have. And also to document the process here.

To start with, I have disassembled the treble side, and freed up the reed switching mechanism. The next step will be to buy some parts, to refurbish the keys.

Removing the treble keys.

Treble reed banks: All of the leather stops will need replacing, but the reeds themselves seem to be in good order.
