Hi Chris;

Well, actually, moving has been a huge setback in my lifestyle, I'm now so overwhelmed with things that are mission critical that I can't seem to make any progress at all. Since your scene is so together, you should take some time off and come visit for a few months to help get things whipped into shape! :lol:

As of now, My 1.6Kw PV array is stored in a dark metal building, the batteries charged up occasionally by grid power. If we get hit with a significant power failure this winter, I'll be coasting along on a set of old tired T-105's and scrambling to put up some panels in the hope of capturing some photons.

Grid power here is twice as expensive as in the city, so I've become even more aware of consumption. Of course, once the PV's are installed and operating, that means that the power I generate myself is twice as valuable!

You've probably already read the other topic where I describe my problems with the water system. That's the current priority project.

Check in again for more trials and tribulations from the Oregon Coast!
