What is the feasibility of modifying an automotive generator or alternator for use in a home built wind system? Is it cost effective? Anyone have any plans for electrical or mechanical (props etc.)? Any info will be appreciated.

I just went back through the forums and pretty much answered my own questions. I am going to make a visit to Southwest Wind Power as they are only about 60 miles from me. I learn something new every day!
