Charge controller stuff

Post by Dennis The Bus Dweller »

Hi Richard

It's a nice "little" unit and for one 80 watt panel it will most likely do the job. "But" If you can put together a hundred bucks or so you may want to get yourself a little bigger one. Maybe a trace C35 or C40 in case down the road some day you would like to add a few more panels. I had a little over 1400 watts on my first skoolie/home and im building a big GMC 4905 Bus/home and it will have 9/170 watt panels on it and a "Huge" battery bank. Im useing an Outback MX-60 on this system. So im not saying to go with a bigboy controller, just something with a little room for a few panels. Solar is some great stuff.
Peace along the way
