Ok here it is, the copycat creation. First the tools. A plastic chopping surface, easy to clean but dulls blades way faster than wood. Also a custom made knife.

I went shopping at local store that has a lot of Russian food (because they had the best sale on beer) they had two kinds of kielbasa so I used some of both, they call it Kielbassy. I also used fresh beets. I doubled all the ingredients because I have a big CROCK and don't want to waste electricity. This recipe is a good one, it tasted great. I have all week to figure out what to cook next.

Lois,

I'm sure glad you bumped this thread, I just remembered I still haven't cleaned that crock pot yet...Oh well, can't rush into these things.

It's a food thread, and I have to gain weight, and was snooping for recipes. My crock-pot is clean, but my big soup pot is fill to the brim, I was wrong, it makes 2 gallons of soup, looks like I'll be freezing some of this batch :)

 You are a funny guy! I used to leave my dishes outside in Oregon and wait for rain....I never waited more than a few minutes.

Both you guys are funny :D

My very first place I rented with my brother. Neither of us were much interested in housekeeping. Basically we just kept piling the dishes into the bathtub and going home to mom's house to take showers :D

Ya, finally we just bagged them up and threw them all away
