Bob's Oatmeal

Post by Bob »

I have never laid claim to being much of a cook but I do have a couple of yummy tricks up my stove-pipe...this one is so easy...even I can do it!
Quakers 5-minute oats (doesn't work to well with instant or the 1-minute kind) instead of using water use all milk..this will make it a creamy pudding like texture and soooo tasty! I like to chop up an apple and add some raisins or whatever kind of fruit you like...a little brown sugar and cook it for 5 minutes. Let it cool down for about 5 minutes and then you will have the best oatmeal you have ever had!
So easy...even a guitar player can do it!
Wherever I am...I am home.
