Simple Simon Soup

Post by Rudy »

It feel good to be crockpotting after not having made anything in over a week. I wanted this one to be simple. Here it is:

2 quarts beef broth

1lb. smoked beef sausage(similar to kielbasa) sliced and cut in halves

2 potatoes sliced and cut into strips

4 stalks celery sliced

30 baby carrots cut it to thirds

3 cloves garlic diced

2 tbsp salt

1 tbsp pepper

That's all I put in there. No fancy spices. No beets or onions.
I'll have a photo later.

This is a very good soup. I used a little too much pepper. Unless you like pepper, just use half a tbsp. I don't mind the pepper so I give this soup two thumbs up.
