This soup is still going good, this week I have some turkey broth to put in it and cauliflower.

I had pneumonia recently and this soup with LOTS of garlic was all I wanted to eat.

Feeling tired tonight so will simmer this soup for a while before going to bed and heat up for lunch tomorrow.

Note: Rick likes this soup with spinach or kale in it, even nettles!

This recipe is definitely a keeper, last week Rick made vegan soup with all the little bits of vegetables we had left in the fridge. Tomorrow I am going to make a chicken based soup with broth from an ancient rooster I oven cooked in water--for 24 hours-dang that was a tough bird!

But the broth has great flavor, I tasted it before we froze it.

Hope everyone is well. Very little activity on the boards this week.

Take Care

This soup just keeps changing, tonight it's chicken broth, crushed tomatoes and noodles, or maybe yams and curry, I haven't decided yet. I am finally gaining weight, I've put on 20 of the 40 pounds I need so I'm half way there and Rick is having trouble sweeping me off my feet since I got heavier! :D

Cheers
