Gooseberry pie

There is some science to this recipe, so bear with me.
First, find a gooseberry bush. You can usually find them along the walls of old apartment buildings. The good ones are about five feet tall.
Bring with you a gallon jug and a nut pick. take the nut pick and gently stroke a few hairs on the gooseberries and they will fall into the jug.
OH, I forgot to tell you to defrost a couple of chicken pot pies before you go gooseberry hunting. (you'll see why)
Collect about 235 gooseberries. Take them home and wash them well in cold water.
Now,carefully remove the top crusts of the unfrozen chicken pot pies, and save them. Remove everything in the pie except the peas without ruining the bottom layer. Try to save as much gravy as you can.
Put many slices of butter and two tablespoons of sugar in each emptied pie shell.
Put in as many gooseberries as you can fit in each pie. Gently put the top pie crust (that you saved) on top. Use brown sugar on the edges of the crusts to seal them together. It will act like glue when heated in the oven.
Bake according to the instructions of the chicken pot pie.
