Getting some red cabbage on to go wit leftover meatloaf

1 head of red cabbage, 1 apple, ½ cup white vinegar, a couple table spoons sugar and a little olive oil :wink: Cover the bottom of the pot wit olive oil. Then cut dat red head in 4 and get da core outa dar. Slice the cabbage in about ¼â€

Dennis, this looks and sounds great. I'm gonna make me some of dat purple luv...cabbage is one of my favorite foods. I have several ways I cook it...I think this one of yours will be another one in my little recipe book ;)

Dennis, you cook it like I do, only I use apple cider vinegar and throw in raisins if I don't have an apple, a little brown sugar if you want a sweet & sour thing.

I've been cooking again and have a savory scone recipe and a picture to email to Blu--because Wisconsin is famous for cheddar and you need good, extra old cheese for this recipe--no hints! :wink:
